Our process begins by understanding these relationships through observation, research, conversation, and exploration. Sketching is central to that process, not simply to illustrate ideas, but to uncover them. Alongside contemporary tools and technology, drawing by hand allows us to explore possibilities and discover the unique potential of each place. From there, ideas are refined through planning and collaboration, then carried through design, construction, and long term stewardship. Our goal is not to impose design on a place, but to reveal its potential.
